MP Girl Data Protection Policy, Consent and Image Use

2. Purpose of this Policy
This Data Protection Policy, Consent and Image Use Policy regulates the collection, use, processing, and storage of personal data within the MP Girl Program, including the participation of minors, the use of user-generated content (UGC), image, voice, and participation in brand communities and activations.
Participation in the MP Girl Program implies reading, understanding, and accepting this policy.
3. Purpose of Data Collection
Personal data is collected exclusively for the following purposes:
- management and validation of applications;
- communication with participants and legal guardians;
- management of the MP Girl community;
- organization of activations, campaigns, and events;
- sending information related to the brand;
- management of creative challenges and content creation;
- selection of participants for campaigns and initiatives by MP Gymnastics;
- use of content submitted and created by participants;
- promotion of campaigns, products, and brand initiatives;
- compliance with applicable legal obligations.
4. Personal Data Collected
MP Gymnastics may collect the following data:
Participant data
- name;
- age;
- city and country;
- phone number;
- email address;
- social media profiles;
- photographs;
- videos;
- UGC content created within the MP Girl Program.
Legal guardian data (when applicable)
- name;
- phone number;
- email address;
- consent confirmation/authorization.
5. Participation of Minors
Participation of minors in the MP Girl Program is strictly subject to prior authorization from their legal guardian.
By authorizing participation, the legal guardian declares that they:
- have read and understood the MP Girl Program Rules;
- accept this Data Protection and Consent Policy;
- authorize the collection and processing of data required for participation;
- authorize the participant’s inclusion in the MP Girl community;
- authorize participation in creative challenges, activations, and initiatives promoted by MP Gymnastics;
- authorize the capture and use of image and content under the terms of this policy.
MP Gymnastics reserves the right to request additional documentation or proof of consent whenever deemed necessary.
6. Voluntary Participation
Participation in the MP Girl Program is entirely voluntary.
The participant or legal guardian may request to leave the program or the MP Girl community at any time by contacting MP Gymnastics.
Likewise, MP Gymnastics reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate participation if it considers that there is:
- breach of rules;
- inappropriate behavior;
- misuse of the community;
- offensive language;
- spam;
- harmful behavior toward the brand, community, or third parties.
7. Image and Content Usage Rights
By participating in the MP Girl Program and submitting content to MP Gymnastics, the participant — and, where applicable, the legal guardian — grants, free of charge, the rights to use their image, voice, name, photographs, videos, and any content created within the program.
This authorization allows MP Gymnastics to use, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, communicate, and distribute such content for commercial, promotional, and institutional purposes, including:
- social media;
- website;
- online store and commercial partners;
- digital campaigns;
- advertising;
- newsletters;
- promotional materials;
- institutional presentations;
- catalogs;
- future brand campaigns;
- other MP Gymnastics initiatives.
Use may occur in digital, graphic, audiovisual, editorial, or printed formats.
Participation in the MP Girl Program does not guarantee financial compensation, remuneration, commercial partnership, exclusive representation, or participation in specific campaigns, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Previously Published Content
Withdrawal of consent, exit from the community, or termination of participation in the MP Girl Program does not require MP Gymnastics to remove content, campaigns, or promotional materials previously published or produced, where such removal would cause disproportionate technical, operational, or commercial impact.
9. Content Moderation, Selection and Management
MP Gymnastics reserves the exclusive right to select, use, edit, publish, or not publish any content submitted by participants within the MP Girl Program.
Submission of content does not guarantee its use, publication, reposting, or inclusion in campaigns or promotional materials.
The decision to use content is made internally and at the discretion of MP Gymnastics, based on creative, editorial, strategic, and brand alignment criteria.
MP Gymnastics may choose not to use content that:
- is not aligned with the brand’s aesthetic or communication style;
- does not meet required technical or creative quality;
- does not align with specific campaigns or collections;
- is inappropriate;
- may harm the brand image;
- infringes third-party rights;
- contains offensive or inappropriate content.
MP Gymnastics also reserves the right to edit, adapt, crop, or adjust submitted content for publication or campaign use.
10. WhatsApp Community and Communication Platforms
Participants may be included in communication groups related to the MP Girl Program, including WhatsApp or other platforms defined by the brand.
For minors without direct access to a mobile phone or WhatsApp, participation in the community may be managed through their legal guardian (mother, father, or representative).
By joining these groups, participants and/or guardians acknowledge that:
- other members may see their name and phone number;
- community rules must be respected;
- MP Gymnastics may remove participants in case of rule violations.
11. Third-Party Platforms
The MP Girl Program may use external platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Meta Platforms, or other digital tools.
MP Gymnastics is not responsible for:
- technical failures;
- platform downtime;
- functional changes;
- third-party policies;
- technical limitations;
- or any issues beyond its direct control.
Use of these platforms is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
12. In-Person Events
Participation in in-person events organized by MP Gymnastics may require additional authorization from the legal guardian, when applicable.
Participants must comply with all safety and organizational instructions provided by the MP Gymnastics team during events, shootings, activations, and in-person initiatives.
13. Data Sharing
MP Gymnastics does not sell personal data to third parties.
Data may only be shared with suppliers, partners, or service providers directly involved in the operational management of the MP Girl Program, when necessary for:
- campaign management;
- event organization;
- communication platforms;
- marketing tools;
- content production;
- technical and operational community management.
Where applicable, MP Gymnastics ensures that such entities comply with applicable data protection laws.
14. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes related to the MP Girl Program and brand initiatives.
MP Gymnastics may retain certain content and records where there is a legitimate interest related to brand management, campaigns, promotional archives, or initiative history.

In accordance with applicable law, data subjects — or their legal guardians — may request:

Participation in the MP Girl Program implies full reading, understanding, and acceptance of this Data Protection Policy, Consent and Image Use document.
