Practice Wear Care Guide
At MP Gymnastics, we use carefully selected fabrics designed to perform and last. However, some materials are naturally more delicate and require special care to maintain their look and feel over time.
Our most durable fabrics include high-quality Lycra blends that resist fading and stretching.
More delicate materials, such as mesh or metallic finishes, are prone to fading and may require extra attention when washing and handling.
Colour transfer can occur between light and dark items, even when washing instructions are followed correctly. Perspiration, deodorants, and other body products can contribute to fading and colour changes.
Special Features
-
Our fabrics may include details such as prints, foils, or embellishments, which need gentle handling to avoid damage.
-
If your practice wear has crystals or other decorations, note that these may loosen or dull over time due to wear, washing, or heat exposure.
-
Avoid contact with rough surfaces or Velcro to prevent pilling or fabric damage.
Washing Instructions
-
Wash items separately to prevent colour bleeding.
-
Turn practice wear inside out to protect prints and embellishments.
-
Use cold water and a gentle cycle, or hand wash when possible.
-
Use mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
-
Do not soak for extended periods.
Drying & Handling
-
Gently squeeze out excess water; do not wring or twist.
-
Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and fabric damage.
-
Do not iron or dry clean, as heat and chemicals can damage fabrics and decorations.
